Build a strong foundation in automotive service by learning shop safety, proper tool usage, vehicle inspections, preventive maintenance, and industry-standard workplace practices.

Brake, Steering
& Suspension Systems
Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair brake systems, steering components, suspension systems, wheel alignments, and related chassis components for safe vehicle operation.

Electrical & Electronic Systems

Learn to diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including batteries, charging systems, starting systems, lighting, wiring, gauges, and electronic accessories.

Engine Service & Repair

Develop the skills to inspect, diagnose, and repair engines, cooling systems, lubrication systems, cylinder heads, valve trains, and other essential engine components.

Diagnostic Equipment
& Technical Skills
Use professional automotive tools, precision measuring instruments, service information, and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify problems and perform quality repairs.

Diagnose and repair engine performance concerns using computerized diagnostic equipment while servicing ignition, fuel, air induction, exhaust, and emission control systems.

Automatic

Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair automatic transmissions, manual transmissions, transaxles, clutches, drive axles, and drivetrain components.

Heating & Air Conditioning (HVAC) 

Service automotive heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, refrigerant recovery, and climate control diagnostics.

Advanced Computerized
Vehicle Systems
Use industry-standard diagnostic software, electronic service information, and computerized testing equipment to troubleshoot today’s electronically controlled vehicles.

Advanced Troubleshooting
& Repair

Develop critical thinking and diagnostic skills by identifying complex mechanical and electrical problems, interpreting test results, and performing accurate repairs using manufacturer procedures.
